Buddhist Karma (# 1076)

4 11 2016

1. Karma refers to actions undertaken with intention; the mind is the creator of our entire existence. Karma is what fuels the entire evolution of an individual’s existence in samsara. Karma acts motivated by and rooted in the mental afflictions, which in turn are rooted in fundamental ignorance, primarily the erroneous belief in the self-existence of things. — The Essence of the Heart Sutra by the Dalai Lama
