New Ground (#374)

6 07 2009

24. ZRM. It has been a quite day of letting things sit in. At times like this I have to remember not to become complacent. Maybe one thing I should consider as an axiom of being more than I think I am is that maybe I can see with my heart.

23. F. Much later. pause

22. F. pause. nothing to report except I manage to stop more regularly today.

17-21. F. pause

16. F. Missing bells now. Amazing that I shut them out. pause.

15. F. pause.

14. F. just a stop and a daydream

13. F.  Here I am a couple of minutes before the bell. The idea of having a place to come to in the 9 seconds, which may have been said at PaB this morning, sounds rather appealing. I think I would end up staying much longer then the 9 seconds.

12. F. Lost a few stops here….just stopping

11. F. Stopping simultaneously to consider something that was said

10. F. another simultaneous bell. I wonder at being here in RL and there in SL at the same time.

9. F. Another simultaneous stop. and a good one for the PaB session.

8. F. My bell and the 90 second PaB bell went off simultaneously. Good to switch directions

7. F. pause. Just a stop

6. F. pause. Wow, the bell lands me right into another solo that seems to be more the piece that was in my head all weekend. All my senses seem to be at attention. It is in a different Gloria.

5. F. pause. think about what it would mean to be more than I think I am

4. F. pause. Listening to Vivaldi and the wonderfully lyrical passage that I have had in my head all weekend is playing. So it is Vivaldi! I see I separated the passage from the counter-melody which is why I couldn’t place it

3. Gr. for the opportunity to grow. For the job to go to this Monday morning. continue down the list…

2. TGT. I am alive again for another day on this beautiful planet.

1. I arrived in the office on another beautiful day here (although the humidity is beginning to inch up slowly) and turned on my computers remembering I left my up-to-date database on the home computer (dolt!). That’s what I get for working at home. While I was planning what I could work on instead, my eye fell on my mini-Buddha and mini-Ganesh standing by my mini-Zen Buddhist rock garden. Standing there was a familiar figure looking back at me.

***: Good morning dear Adams!
Adams Rubble: Good morning! I have been waiting for you to arrive.
***: It is nice to see you. What brings you here today?
Adams Rubble: I am noticing you have no new explorations planned
***: I am feeling my spiritual and daily life may be beginning to come together, or have a way of coming together. I am so appreciative how you got out in front on this
Adams Rubble: It may have been happening through me but it is happening in you
***:  Whichever way it is happening, we seem to be on some new ground Adams
Adams Rubble: Yes, I see, and you are wondering where we go from here
***: Exactly!
Adams Rubble: And you are wondering whether the next part has to happen in real life now?
***: You are correct, my intrepid avatar. In fact Piet suggested it in an email. Look to the  nine seconds, my boy.
Adams Rubble: C’mon, that doesn’t sound like Pema (giggles)
***: Well, not exactly. he connected the “easy” part with the nine seconds.
Adams Rubble: Hmmm. Is that all he said?
*** (looking back): Ohhh. “As for remembering it, that will be easy — that’s what the 9-sec is for, locally for your self, and the PaB sessions, to be stimulated by our global community of friends!
Adams Rubble: My dear ***, you had only half the idea in your pretty little head. You are still looking for separation from me. Two thirds of that happens through PaB (here) and OUR friends!
***: I must admit I had been thinking that your role was complete.
Adams Rubble: Again!!?! Well, let’s try to look at it from a slightly different angle. What if the side explorations are done? Would that mean my role is done?
*** (thinking for a bit): The side explorations were/are exploring something a little different and I do not know if that is resolved or not. I have some new information, things I have overlooked. But…
Adams Rubble: You see it?
***: Yes, there is something else that needs dropping. I don’t know quite what it is, maybe an attachment, or a desire for something that may be beyond my control.
Adams Rubble: and your explorations?
***: I may have been looking for the answers to the wrong questions
Adams Rubble: Don’t be too hard on yourself. Going back to the person who used God as a resource, would you want to return to being that person?
***: I am assuming you mean was I a self-righteous, holier-than-thou prig?
Adams Rubble: Hehe, you certainly know how to get to the point. Yes. but that was an identity. You were role playing. What did you conclude yesterday?
***: Oh Adams! How clever! That I am enabled when I am not limited by my identities.
Adams Rubble: “we are more than we think we are”. What if you work on seeing what that means. If you are empowered, what is it that you want to be empowered to do?
***: I am here in the desert surrounded by temptations?
Adams Rubble: Well if one suddenly became empowered, one would consider all the possibilities. Nothing wrong with seeing them :)
***: and what will you do?
Adams Rubble: I will continue to go to PaB, zazen and talk with OUR friends while WE figure out what it is WE need to do or learn next
***: Sounds like a good plan. Thanks for stopping by this morning
Adams Rubble: Remember to do your stopping this morning! Bye, you big lug!
